Iceland-based Algalíf, a biotechnology company specializing in the sustainable production of natural astaxanthin from microalgae, has launched Astalíf 15, which the company claimed to be “the world’s first 15% natural astaxanthin oleoresin.”

Until now, the industry standard oleoresin concentration has been lower, making this a milestone for product developers worldwide, the company said. Astalíf 15 enables smaller capsules and advanced formulations.
